Margaret Murphy is the Resource Efficiency Officer with the Southern Region Waste Management Office. The office is funded by all ten local authorities in the region, including Wexford County Council. We aim to achieve strategic objectives as specified in our Regional Waste Management Plan which is available on our website www.srwmo.ie.
Resource Efficiency for Businesses
Margaret Murphy will speak generally on waste prevention and reducing waste at source. The talk will also include specific quick wins that any business can use to reduce waste and improve their waste management practices. An outline of the EcoMerit Programme for businesses will also be covered – the talk will highlight the typical savings that EcoMerit helps businesses to achieve through improved energy, waste and water management.
