Who wants to learn three interesting things before breakfast? Join us for a whistle stop tour through the challenges and opportunities of data in your organisation. We will look at issues of data protection (GDPR) compliance, the impact of Brexit on data transfers to and from the UK, and the hidden costs of poor quality data in your organisation. Attendees will get an insight into the strategic risks and opportunities that arise for them from their data.

Daragh O Brien Bio:

Daragh O Brien, Managing Director of Castlebridge, is an internationally recognised expert in data management and data protection. He has spent most of the last 25 years helping people in organisations do great things with data, working with organisations from small start-ups to multinationals and Government departments in Ireland, the UK, and beyond. He is the co-author of Ethical Data and Information Management, is a Syllabus Consultant and lecturer with the Law Society of Ireland and is an Occasional Lecturer in Data Protection law in UCD Sutherland School of Law. He is also a Fellow of the Irish Computer Society. He is regular contributor to the media on data protection and data management issues.
